Padup Africa consultants on the Norwegian church aid TOT training on sanitary pads production

The inclusión of both genders while discussing a social problem such as period poverty while navigating through a sustainable means of tackling the lack of adequate menstrual hygiene information, accessibility and availability of menstrual hygiene products, the stigmatization and cultural sensitivity of menstrual discussion have brought about a particular partnership between The Norwegian Church Aid and Pad-Up Africa. NCA had contracted PUA as consultants to facilitate a TOT on reusable pads production in three local government area in Bornu state and Yobe state. The training had a lot of positive feedback and engagement, the locals we happy knowing that they can use their hand made pad, and be empowered by thesame pads is hope to them. “We will support a sustainable development with the understanding that if there must be cohabitation between both genders then no information should be peculiar to one gender regardless of their gender roles” Thank you Mr Arthur of NCA and thank you Mr Sylvester of PUA.
