As we Accelerate Action in commemoration with this year international women’s day, let’s not forget the inter generation bliss that makes us unique, Menstruation – menopause. This is our reality” one out of every five girls stay out of school due to lack of good menstrual hygiene product and lack of adequate information on menstrual health and dignity, also 1 out of every 5 women in sub Sahara Africa leave in fear and self doubt due to Inadequate information, education and medical care for menopausal effects in our society.
So as women we must amplify our voice on MHD and menopause.
- We must demand for equity and equality to have access in rooms were life policies are being made to enable us influence this polices or create policies in our gender interest.
- We must create a safe place were we can have honest conversation on MHD and FHF
- We must take swift action in the face of sexual and domestic violence
- We must empower ourselves at all levels for sustainable growth.
